Nairobi City Thunder head coach Bradley Ibs has refused to let his players dwell on their 90-game unbeaten streak, instead urging them to keep raising their standards after sealing a third consecutive Kenya Basketball Federation Premier League title with a 3-0 sweep of KPA in the finals.

Speaking on Citizen TV's Sporty Monday show, Ibs attributed the run to discipline, commitment and hard work. "It is a good thing. Not many teams can afford that easily. It was hard work, discipline and commitment to the course, so we must strive to keep improving," he said.

The coach credited Thunder's participation in the Basketball Africa League for sharpening his squad. "The level of competition in the league is very high. Our participation in that tournament has really improved our team, and our aim is now to win it," Ibs added.

Despite the clean sweep, Ibs noted that KPA pushed Thunder throughout the three-game series, a challenge he believes strengthens the team's mentality. He praised the collective effort behind the three-peat and said he hopes the club's winning culture continues for years to come.
