Senegal international point guard Jean-Jacques Boissy has signed for Dar City in Tanzania, with the club confirming the move on Monday.

Boissy missed the Basketball Africa League play-offs because of a foot injury but has returned to full fitness. He had already made an impact for the Lions of Senegal during his return to international duty this summer.

The 26-year-old guard is expected to bring experience, explosiveness and competitive spirit to Dar City. The Tanzanian club reached the BAL play-offs last season and is targeting another qualification for the league's final phase.

Dar City announced Boissy's arrival as the beginning of another chapter in his career and a significant step in the club's bid to remain among Africa's leading teams.
