Senegalese centre Ndoumbé Cissé has officially joined Flames Female Basketball in Liberia after playing in Senegal and Guinea. The move gives the Flames an experienced player as they prepare for another continental challenge.
Cissé previously played for Dbaloc in the Senegalese championship before moving to Jorfof BC in Guinea. She now brings experience of high-level competition to the Liberian club.
Her arrival comes ahead of the Women’s Basketball League Africa Zone 3 qualifiers, which Flames Female Basketball will host at home from 4 to 8 November. The club will welcome teams to Liberia for the continental tournament.
For Cissé, the transfer represents a new challenge on the African stage. She is determined to make an impact for her new team and help the Flames perform in front of their home supporters during the qualifiers.
