Cheikh Bamba Diallo produced another standout performance for Dar City Basketball, scoring 26 points in a second consecutive playoff win over Vijana BC. The Senegalese guard led his side as they pushed closer to the 2026 National Basketball League title.
After opening the series with a 73-61 victory, Dar City again got the better of Vijana BC, moving 2-0 ahead in the best-of series. Diallo finished with 26 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals, continuing his strong run since returning to the club in June.
The Senegalese international is back with a team he knows well, having previously played for Dar City in 2025 when he was crowned NBL champion. A former Duc player, Diallo has been central to Dar City's run of form. They now need one more win to clinch the championship.
