FAP and Overdose Basketball Club Up Station will represent Cameroon at the Women’s Basketball League Africa Zone 4 qualifiers in the Republic of Congo from 24 to 28 October. The tournament will bring together around ten clubs, with the two leading teams qualifying for the final phase in Cairo from 11 to 20 December.
The two Cameroonian sides have been refining their preparations in recent days through sessions focused on automatisms, tactical adjustments and team cohesion. Every session is important before they travel to Brazzaville, where they will face opponents accustomed to national and sub-regional competitions.
The assignments ahead are demanding, but both clubs are using their remaining training time to establish their combinations and prepare for the quick adaptation required at continental level. Only the first and second-placed teams will secure places in the final tournament in Egypt.
