One all-girls camp go run for Tunis from October 15 to 18, den boys camp go follow for Abidjan from October 23 to 25. Each session go get 25 players wey dem select from across di continent, plus 15 slots wey dem reserve for local players from di host country, wey go make di total number of players for each camp reach 40.

Previous editions don hold for Kigali, Rwanda, and Bamako, Mali, for 2023, and di 2024 edition split between Douala, Cameroon, and Abidjan. Last year edition take place for Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall for Cairo, Egypt.

Since dem start am for 2021, di FIBA Africa Youth Camp don reach players from 43 countries and 240 young players don benefit, including 90 girls. Some popular alumni na Egypt Salma Khedr, wey represent Egypt for di FIBA U17 Women's World Cup for Hungary for 2022 and dis year FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup for Spain, Egypt Saifaddin Hendawy, Madagascar Andri Lovasoa and Mali Fatoumata Samake.

Di camps dey aimed to find African basketball talent and empower young people to become drivers of positive change, and international scouts dey expected to attend di sessions.
