The Philadelphia 76ers have converted Senegalese centre Tacko Fall’s Exhibit 10 deal into a two-way contract, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Saturday, October 17. The move ends a four-year NBA absence for the 2.29m pivot, who last played in the league during the 2021-2022 season with Cleveland.
Fall, who began his career with the Boston Celtics after going undrafted from Central Florida in 2019, will split time between the 76ers and their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coots. Philadelphia completed its three two-way slots, with Caleb Love and Rayan Rupert already in place. The 76ers did not specify a return date.
The signing comes as Philadelphia deals with injuries in its frontcourt. Joel Embiid remains the starting centre, but Ariel Hukporti suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon during a preseason game against the New York Knicks on October 5, ending his season. Adem Bona has been bothered by a foot injury, while Dominick Barlow has had back problems.
Fall, who has been sidelined since the start of camp with a hip strain announced on October 1, averaged 11.2 points and 6 rebounds across 38 games for China’s Ningbo Rockets in 2025-2026. In three NBA seasons with Boston and Cleveland, he appeared in 37 games, 11 of them in 2021-2022.
