Maroussi B.C. have agreed terms with 26-year-old South Sudanese-Australian forward Kuany Kuany for the 2026-27 season. Standing 210cm, Kuany graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2024 after four years at the University of California, and is preparing for his third season as a professional.
Kuany comes to the Greek league after a brief stint with the Milwaukee Bucks at the NBA Summer League, where he averaged 0.7 points and 1.3 rebounds in three games. He previously played for the Falcons in Australia's NBL, as well as clubs in Australia, Cyprus and Morocco. With FUS Rabat in 2026, he reached the Moroccan Cup final and earned Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot League Honourable Mention recognition.
He has featured for the South Sudan senior national team since 2024 and brings experience across four continents to a Maroussi roster that also includes guards Antonis Koniaris, Michail Lountzis, Jordan Walker, Zeb Jackson and Christos Venetidis, fellow forward Lance Ware and centre Silvio de Sousa.
