Sacramento Kings forward Precious Achiuwa is set to become one of the newest residents of Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences, a 49-story luxury condominium between Miami's Design District and Midtown. The 27-year-old has signed a contract for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit listed at $1.84 million, according to developers Terra and Lion Development Group. He was represented by Simon S. Mass of Altariss & TCS.

Achiuwa said Miami has long felt like a second home. "When Simon walked me through what Jean-Georges and Terra were building at Miami Tropic, it was an easy decision," he said in a press release shared with Realtor.com, adding that the development's focus on fitness, nutrition and luxury living shaped his decision. He had previously bought at Five Park, another Terra project, with the same guidance.

The 338-unit tower is Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's first residential real estate venture. Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, it offers more than 80,000 square feet of amenities across five floors, including infrared saunas, steam rooms, contrast therapies, an eighth-floor pool and a rooftop pool. Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras and his son Hilario, as well as Alpine Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly, have also bought units.

Terra CEO David Martin said Achiuwa is joining "a rapidly growing Miami Tropic community of residents with a shared appreciation for wellness, hospitality, and culture."
