More openings dey scheduled for Dakar, Joal and Guédiawaye for Senegal, plus Owerri for Nigeria, before December. PETROSEN, Qatar Foundation, Ville de Dakar, Wave Côte d'Ivoire and Woodside Energy dey support di renovation programme.

Each facility don get better playing surface, spectator area and basketball stanchion, and some of di venue dem also get new light, changing room and sanitation facility. Di project still get di first BAL4HER courts from BAL on di continent, wit di ones for Guédiawaye and Owerri specially designed to give more opportunity for women and girls for sport.

"Together wit our partners, wi dey create space where di next generation of African basketball player, fan, and changemaker fit grow, connect and thrive."

For Abidjan, di court wey dem renovate for Groupe Scolaire Lac for Koumassi go serve near 3,000 player every week, including 2,500 students. Di Owerri facility don already dey serve more than 300 participant across Imo State and e go still get better changing room, bathroom, light and drainage.
