Al Ittihad and Nadi Basket Staoueli meet at the Grande Salle de Tripoli on Wednesday 21 October to open their campaigns in the Road to BAL 2027 qualifiers. The Libyan representative and Algerian club have three consecutive matches to finish in the top two of Group A.
Al Ittihad will next face Cape Verde’s Kriol Star on Thursday 22 October and Stade Malien on Friday 23 October. The Libyan team will play all three matches without a rest day.
Staoueli’s schedule includes Stade Malien on Thursday and Kriol Star on Friday. Each of the four teams in the group plays its three rivals once, making Wednesday’s Libyan-Algerian meeting the first fixture in both clubs’ programmes.
The top two will advance to the West Division Elite 16 in Abidjan from 9 to 15 November. Qualification in Tripoli will continue the elimination process but will not yet secure a place in the Basketball Africa League, Africa’s continental club competition.
