Former APR FC midfielder Jean-Bosco Ruboneka has completed his move to Libyan Premier League side Al-Tahaddi Sporting Club Benghazi. The Rwanda international leaves the army side after six seasons in Kigali.

Ruboneka, 27, joined APR from AS Muhanga in 2019 and became one of the team's most dependable performers in midfield. He became a free agent at the end of the season after his contract expired.

According to reports, APR offered Ruboneka a new contract, but the midfielder turned down the proposal after the two parties failed to reach an agreement, particularly over salary terms.

His move to Libya represents a fresh challenge outside Rwanda. Al-Tahaddi, one of Libya's historic clubs, will look to the midfielder's experience and technical ability to strengthen their engine room ahead of the new season.
