American guard Craig Randall has signed a two-year contract extension with APR ahead of the 2026/27 Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) season. He had initially joined APR on a short-term deal in February before moving to RSSB Tigers for the Basketball Africa League when APR withdrew from the competition.
Randall helped Tigers win the BAL title in Kigali and was named MVP. On April 4, 2026, he scored 54 points in a 104-92 victory over Dar City, hitting 18 of 36 from the field and 11 three-pointers in a record-setting BAL performance.
Forward Teafale Lenard Jr. also extended his stay at APR for another season. Both players featured for Tigers at the 2026 FIBA Intercontinental Cup in Beijing before returning to Kigali.
APR have also signed Patriots BBC duo Hubert Sage Kwizera and Garba Chingka Kenedy. Nigerian centre Garba, the 2026 RBL Regular Season MVP, joins after helping Patriots reach the playoffs finals, while Kwizera, the 2026 RBL Most Improved Player, signed a two-year deal.
