Kenya Ports Authority have strengthened their squad for the Women's Basketball League Africa qualifiers and December's final tournament by signing Los Angeles Sparks rookie Tonie T. Morgan and Kenyan international Victoria Reynolds. Both players have joined the Kenya Basketball Federation defending champions ahead of the continental campaign.
Morgan, a 5'9" point guard, was selected 32nd overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2026 WNBA draft before being waived and signing with the Sparks as a development player in June. Her performances earned her a full standard contract in mid-August. KPA described her as bringing "valuable experience, athleticism, creativity, and strong playmaking ability" to the Dockers backcourt.
Reynolds, a shooting guard, returns to KPA after spells with Rwanda Energy Group and Club Esgueira in Portugal. She averaged 18.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game during KPA's run to the 2023 final, which earned her a spot on the Team of the Tournament alongside Madina Okot. The club called her "an assassin from the three-point line, capable of changing the complexion of a game with her perimeter shooting."
Coach Samuel Ocholla's side reached the WBLA final in 2023 but missed the 2024 main tournament before returning last year via a wildcard after finishing third in the Zone Five qualifiers.
