Alima Doumbia scored 20 points as Kenya Ports Authority beat Burundi's Dynamo Basketball 75-68 in their second match of the Women's Basketball League Africa qualifiers in Kibaha, Tanzania on Monday afternoon. The result atoned for KPA's 79-95 opening loss to Rwanda Energy Group in Pool A on Saturday.

The Ivorian guard added three rebounds and two assists for the Kenyan champions, who had to repel a spirited Dynamo side. Victoria Reynolds anchored the inside with 13 points, 11 rebounds and three assists, while Christine Akinyi (13) and Yvonne Atieno (11) also reached double figures in scoring.

For Dynamo, Nelly Sandra Nsanzabaganwa tallied 19 points and Nandy Linda Uwitonze added 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists. The Burundians could not convert their late surges into a comeback.

KPA's next assignment is a Tuesday meeting with hosts Fox Divas of Tanzania at the same venue.
