Fath Union Sport have become the first winners of Morocco's basketball Super Cup, edging Maghreb Fes 78-77 in the 2026 final at the Fethallah Bouazzaoui hall in Salé on Monday evening. The Rabat club held their nerve in a tense closing stretch to seal the historic result by a single point.
The match stayed in the balance throughout, with Maghreb Fes still chasing an equaliser in the final seconds before falling just short. Both sides traded blows across a tightly contested evening in the Moroccan capital region, where the Fassis kept their hopes alive until the very end.
The trophy carries extra weight as it is the first edition of the competition, placing FUS alone at the top of the new competition's roll of honour. The Rabat side now begin the new season with the morale boost that comes from lifting a landmark piece of silverware.
