First Bank and MFM have secured their places in the final of the 2026 NBBF/Zenith Bank Women's Basketball League after winning their respective semi-final matches on Friday at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium.

Nine-time champions First Bank edged debutants Aso Sky Queens 61-57 in a closely contested encounter to continue their unbeaten run and reach the final for the second consecutive year. Aso Sky Queens took a 17-13 lead after the first quarter, but First Bank responded to lead 34-30 at half-time. The Sky Queens regained the advantage 45-43 entering the final period before First Bank fought back, with Olarenwaju Ayodeji's crucial block in the closing seconds sealing the win.

MFM reached the final after edging Nigeria Customs 64-61. They opened an 11-point lead, going 22-11 up in the first quarter, but Nigeria Customs fought back to trail 35-34 at half-time and then led 47-44 after the third. The two-time champions rallied in the fourth quarter to overturn the deficit, returning to the final after finishing third last season.

First Bank and MFM will meet in the final on Saturday, October 3.
