The 2026 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal has been rescheduled from 7-15 November to 28 November-6 December, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has announced. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) took the decision in consultation with the FSF.
The rescheduling takes into account Senegal's crowded sporting calendar at the end of the year. The country will host the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games from 31 October to 13 November, and shifting the Beach Soccer tournament allows better coordination between the two international events.
The FSF said the new dates are also intended to improve the organisation of the competition and ensure smoother coordination between the different events on Senegalese soil.
As defending African champions, Senegal will continue their preparations with the aim of retaining their continental title at home from 28 November to 6 December. The FSF reaffirmed its commitment to working alongside CAF to deliver a successful edition and support the development of African beach soccer.
