The Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB) has named Benguela as the host of the 33rd edition of the Vladimiro Romero Super Cup, scheduled for October 17, 2026. The men's showpiece will pit Petro de Luanda against Interclube.
In a press release outlining the framework for senior competitions in the 2026/2027 season, FAB confirmed that the women's Super Cup will be held on November 20 in Huíla province, between 1º de Agosto and Sporting de Luanda.
The draw for the 49th edition of the UNITEL BASKET 2026/2027, the national men's senior championship, is set for October 1 at 6:00 pm in Luanda, with the competition tipping off on October 20. Registration for teams interested in the Angola Cup closes on October 8.
In the women's sector, the draw for the Liga Azule, the national women's senior championship, is scheduled for November 4 at 6:00 pm in Luanda. Registration for the women's Angola Cup runs until November 6, with the national championship beginning on November 26 in the cities of the registered teams.
Petro de Luanda enters the men's Super Cup as reigning champion, while 1º de Agosto holds the Liga Azule title and the women's Angola Cup.
